Kids listen to more than you think

Everyday Cash comes up with new words that just amazes me. I have learned that he really listens to thing without me even having a clue he is listening.
I had my XM radio playing on my laptop and a song by Jason Aldean "Asphalt Cowboy" came on I guess.
Well I walked by the boys toy room and heard Cash talking. I stopped and listened (because it sounded like something he should not be saying) Well, he did not know I was standing by the door and he repeated it again. It sounded like A@#hole and I couldn't understand the rest. I walked into the room and asked him to repeat what he said , again A@#hole and the other word was cowboy. I stopped myself to think what was he trying to say, and then he showed me. He took me to my computer and begin to sing "asphalt cowboy" . So we set down and practiced Asphalt so the next person that hears him will understand. My lesson learned today is to stop and listen before anything else.
